What others say about my work
Eirik Espe

Frederic has been part of Epsis' consulting department and has primarily been working for the company's international customers in the oil & gas segment.

He has been involved in major projects within Integrated Operations (IO) - both in the project phase (green field) and in the operational phase. His field of work has been broad and included among others the preparation of IO strategies, operational philosophies as well as practical implementations of new working methods for operating groups.

Frederic is very knowledgeable and has been a key employee within his field. He is very systematic and structured and has always delivered high quality work. Frederic is a self-starter and has been highly appreciated by all the customers he has worked for.

Jan-Erik Nordtvedt , President and CEO at Epsis AS
Edwin Meissner

Frédéric managed a Field Development Plan project for a brown field in Western Sibiria. As lead Geomodeller, I was member of the Project Management Team.

The project was very demanding on several levels: many different stakeholders in several countries with complex relationships and changing interests; language and cultural barriers within a big project team with more than 40 contributors excluding the client; tight budget for a project with many risks.

Technically Frédéric knowledgeably oversaw a wide range of specialists, from sedimentological, geophysical and petrophysical interpretation to static and dynamic modelling, to come up with an appropriate field development plan for that specific field. Frédéric managed to integrate the different interests and react flexible on changing situations. He guided the work of all the different disciplines and enabled the members of the team to deliver the required contributions.

It was a pleasure to work together with Frédéric and appeasing to get his "out of the box" ideas to solve issues along the way. I experienced that Frédéric integrates many different personalities with his calm character and also technical complexities with his broad knowledge and ability to quickly grasp the essence and transforms it into the desired results.

Jan Richard Sagli

This is to acknowledge the high performance by Frédéric Verhelst (hired from Epsis to DNV) as the project manager and DNV as the lead organization for IOHN (Integrated Operations in the High North). This four year project was finalized in May 2012 with 23 participating organizations. Running this 100 MNOK project has been very challenging due to e.g. complex tasks, the large number of participants and negotiations with companies that wanted to be a member of the consortium but had very demanding IPR requests.

Frédéric and DNV have been herding the very different cats in an excellent way during the course of the project, and it is a great pleasure for me to recommend them for other large and complex R&D projects in the future.

Vidar Hepsø

I've had the pleasure of working together with Frédéric as Statoil coordinator and board member for the IOHN-project.

He is an easy going and very professional project manager. Frédéric demonstrated through IOHN that he has the necessary capabilities to be able to run large scale JIP's.

I will recommend him to others both as a person and a professional.

Prof. Dr. Vidar Hepsø , Principal Researcher and Project Manager at Statoil ASA
Aart-Willem Bentschop

Frédéric showed himself as en excellent business developer, who is able to build up relationships both on the technical as the strategic management level of large companies.

Based on these skills Frederic acquired two major new strategic accounts for TNO in a relative short period of time.

Aart-Willem Benschop , Department Manager at TNO Science and Industry.
